Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our national commercial roofing team in Charleston, SC. As a crucial member of our organization, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial roofing projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial roofing project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Tennessee market.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Prepare and manage detailed project schedules and phasing plans for each job
Budget & Cost Management:
Oversee project costs through ECAC and WIP reviews, and ensure projects stay on budget.
Team Coordination & Supervision:
Control manpower, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate on-site activities to keep projects on track.Participate in pre-construction meetings, reviewing plans and ensuring smooth handoff from estimating to operations.Cultivate relationships with clients to foster repeat business and ensure their satisfaction.Ensure quality control is maintained across all projects and that safety plans are executed according to company policies.Track material inventory, ensuring everything is available for project needs, and handle purchase orders as required.Coordinate final inspections, manage project closeout documents, and ensure completion to customer satisfaction.Assist estimating, supervise work performed by crews, and provide guidance on smaller service projects as needed.Qualifications:

Additional Tasks:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial roofing industry.
Deep knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
Familiarity with Alabama building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel within Alabama as needed for project requirements.
